JESUS glorifying GOD:

What makes a good leader?
What makes an excellent leader?
What makes an exceptional leader?
There's really only one, real answer:
Be like CHRIST.
He sought not His own glory.
He always gave GOD all the glory.
That's what differentiates man, from JESUS.
He was never focused on Himself.
His DNA was complete obedience to the FATHER.
Even as all power, and glory, was given Him.
He only focused on saving man, and glorifying GOD.
Luke 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come
to seek and to save that which was lost.
Luke 15:3-6

3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep,
if he lose one of them, doth not leave
the ninety and nine in the wilderness,

his friends and neighbours, saying unto them,

In contrast, man looks to himself.
How can he earn more?
How can he be top in his field?
How can he dominate markets?
How can he outdo all nations?
How can he be the best, and brightest?
How can he be the most loved, and adored?
How can he have all that he wants in this world?
JESUS only cared we repent of our sins, and believe in Him.
Mark 1:15

The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye,
and believe the gospel.
He wanted believers to share His gospel.
Mark 16:15-16

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.
He wanted us to love GOD.
Matthew 22:37-38

37 Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first
and great commandment.
He wanted us to love others.
Matthew 22:39-40
King James Version
39 And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments
hang all the law and the prophets.
For every miracle JESUS was about to perform, He looked up to heaven to the Father, and thanked Him.
For every grief, or sorrow, He prayed in the garden, or up in the mountain.
For every sin, He healed the people, and asked they sin no more.
That is the leadership pattern the LORD JESUS gave.
"The whole Bible is JESUS."
He lived a life of faithfulness, humility, selflessness, compassion, truth, justice, and love.
Do we have such leaders today?
The kind who doesn't think of what self can be, or have?
The kind who cultivates a pure heart for the LORD alone?
The kind who cringes at any hidden agenda he may find in himself?
The kind who wants CHRIST to shine His LIGHT upon the dark corners of his soul?
Are you such a leader?
I do hope so.
For the time is short.
JESUS can come for His believers anytime.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4

5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren,
ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly
that the day of the Lord so cometh
as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them,
as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness,
that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1 Thessalonians 5:5-8

5 Ye are all the children of light,
and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night;
and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love;
and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
If you are a leader, be like CHRIST.
So we may not mislead others.
It is vital we don't.
